1. What’s the difference between this program and a diet?

In a diet, you find yourself trying to count every calorie you eat, which understandably causes you to become frustrated and give up. At the end of the day, you find yourself hungry and lethargic. This 7-Day Jumpstart program isn’t about starving your body, fasting, juicing, eating strange food combinations, or taking lots of supplements.

It’s about reminding your body and taste buds which foods make it thrive and returning to a place of balance.

In this program you will identify hidden food sensitivities.

I’ve developed a program that will explore what foods work best (and which don’t) to give you optimum energy, kickstart changes in your body, and reduce your waistline. During this program, you’re going to remove toxins from your body. Toxins are stored in fat cells. The more toxins stored in your body, the more fat your body needs to hold on to. Once you remove the toxins, your body will be able to release excess weight. I will take you step-by-step through a simple program that will make a huge difference in how you feel and look – in just 7 days!

Toxin Reduction & Meditation Tips. Learn what supplements and actions can help you support toxin removal for this Cleanse and beyond. Meditation is the key to keeping your stress in check. Adopt the practice that suits you best so you can learn to employ it regularly.

Transition Diet.  The most important feature of this Cleanse is learning what foods you’re sensitive to and how to eat outside of the Cleanse. After all, the Cleanse is only 7 days!  That’s what I love about this program – learn how to eat for your body during and after the Cleanse.

Teleseminar Recordings. Use the recordings to frame the Cleanse prior to your start and then during it to guide you through the rest of the program, as well as what to expect when it ends.  Much of the information is contained in the Guidebook, though I do share a few nuggets of information to support you during the Reboot and onward.

6. Will I be hungry on this program? Is this a juice or smoothie fast? If not, what do I eat?

You may experience slight hunger the first two days of the program, but you can always add in a snack from the meal plans I have put together for you. The meal plans are packed with amazing recipes that will likely become favorites of yours, even after the program.

This Reboot isn’t about starving your body, juicing, eating strange food combinations, or taking lots of supplements. It’s not a fast at all, and while juices and smoothies are encouraged, the recipes I provide are delicious, filling and ones that you’ll want to put into regular rotation after you complete the Reboot.

This is primarily a plant-based Reboot. Animal proteins are allowed for Phase 1 of the program.  

7. Do you provide food or supplements?

While I don’t provide food or supplements, I do provide over 100 recipes, a 7-day suggested menu and product recommendations.  Several supplements are encouraged but not required and you may already be using them.

8. What if I want a longer Reboot?

The beauty of this Reboot is that it’s flexible. It comprises 3 phases.

Phase 1 is the preparation phase, eliminating particular foods and readying the body for Phase 2.

Phase 2 is the essence & foundation of the program, and

Phase 3 is transitioning you back to your life.

If you’re interested in modifying any of the phases, no problem. The materials provide that instruction.

9. What happens after the 7 days?

At the end of the 7 days, you will implement Phase 3, which is simply transitioning you back into the reality of your life and reintroducing foods you removed during the Reboot.  Phase 3 is also a repeat of Phase 1.

This is when you learn which foods are friends & which are foes. This is a critically important part of the process.  Jumping back to your pre-Reboot ways can undo your efforts made during the Reboot.

10. Is this Reboot for everyone?

This Reboot is NOT for those who don’t want to remove inflammatory foods from their food protocol for the duration of the Reboot.  Some of those inflammatory foods include sugar, soy, and gluten.

This Reboot is NOT for those who don’t feel comfortable preparing meals for themselves. Preparation of the recipes is essential to a successful reboot.  If you would like to have meals prepared, please contact me for those contacts.

11. What is the difference between a cleanse, a detox and a reboot?

A cleanse provides your body with a baseline for optimal functioning & as importantly, gives your gut an opportunity to reset and rebalance.  We’re taking out the substances that slow you down, make you sick,  cause gas and bloating, make you retain unnecessary weight and leave you feeling tired and foggy.

A detox is a more intense removal of toxins with the support of targeted supplements and herbs.  During this reboot, you may experience some detox symptoms if you are used to a SAD [standard American diet] way of eating.  Typical symptoms include headaches, irritability, and the like.

A reboot is an opportunity to give your body a jumpstart on your health goals.  Removing inflammatory foods or foods to which you are sensitive, for a period of time, allows the body to heal and function optimally. While it incorporates the premise of the ‘Cleanse’ I have offered in the past, the Reboot Cleanse is designed to consider all of the body systems, and not just a focus on the liver.

12. How can I be most successful on this Reboot?

Read the materials I provide you in advance of the weekend so that if you’d like to purchase any items from Amazon, for example, there will be time to receive them.

Being prepared is the key to success on this Reboot. Review & plan your menu for the reboot and prepare several recipes on Sunday [JANUARY 29th] that will cover several days.

The reboot is not only about what foods to eat or eliminate.  I encourage you to set aside time each day [or evening] to implement the non-food nutrient-filled activities that are essential to a healthy body & happy life.
