
Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients
- 1/2cup dates [soak if hard]
- 1/2cup maple syrup
- 2 teas. vanilla
- 3 ripe avocados [the softer the better; mash a little for pre-blend]
- 3/4cup cacao powder
- 1/2cup water [more or less, as desired for consistency]
Instructions
- In a food processor, blend the dates and maple syrup until incorporated.
- Add in the vanilla, mashed avocado and cacao powder.
- As you're blending in the powder, use the water to thin down and take stress off the machine.
Notes
- I met Sister Killian at a conference and she presented this mousse dish in honor of a participant's birthday. Outstanding recipe.
- Feel free to tweak the sweetness amounts. I prefer less sweet so use only 1/4cup maple syrup.
